OUR SECRET INGREDIENT
(ISN’T REALLY A SECRET)

One of our unique attributes is our focus on culture. If your organization is experiencing low retention, leadership challenges or struggling to capture greater market share, there’s a chance you may have an unhealthy, undefined or underdeveloped culture.

Driving culture change requires a clear alignment between your values and beliefs, a strong business case, employees who are engaged in the change process, and a plan to implement your culture change goals. Our team will develop a strategic change initiative that will take your goals to the next level! One ticket to the moon, please.

Our transformational mindsets course helped
leaders feel 64% more confident in creating
psychological safety in the workplace.

Dr. Austin’s academic roots in classical vocal performance, business and ethnomusicology (Howard University, Carnegie Mellon University and University of Sheffield in England), are the foundation of her innovative approach to organizational change. For the last 20 years, her consultancy, ONE CHANGE (formerly the Global Institute for Diversity and Change), has provided over 2,000 organizations with high impact strategies. Among many of her distinguished clients, Dr. Austin has presented extensive research on gender inclusion to the International Rescue Committee, which restores stability to people affected by humanitarian crises in 50 countries. She has delivered racial equity work to the United Nations Development Programme’s Corporate Anti-Racism and Discrimination Advisory Board, and the United Nations International Maritime Organization (UK) which governs security shipping policies in 175 countries around the world.

In 2020, she was honored to serve as Governor Ralph Northam’s Special Advisor in the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – the first state agency of its kind in Virginia and the nation. From 2020-2022, she served as Chief Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor for 7 Mindsets where her evidence-based JEDI framework taught more than 5 million K-12 students and educational professionals learn how to foster a culture of equity. In 2015, her humanitarian organization, Change International, was the first to provide emergency childhood education to IDP’S (Internally Displaced People) that escaped Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria. Dr. Austin was honored to present her IDP sustainable community model at the 2022 Climate Change Forum in Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the 2019 United Nations General Assembly as an exemplar of their 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
